What little things have been catching my eye lately? Here you go:
-This may not be such a little thing: I was walking the other day down Lodi road and suddenly dropped in front of my from the sky. Was the sky falling? Nope. I looked down, and lo and behold, there was a dead rat lying in front of my, obviously half eaten by a bird. Lovely. What did I do? I side-stepped it and thought "Ah, only in India." What else can you do?
-DID YOU KNOW, iTunes, Spotify AND Hulu do not work in India. Wah. I have slowly been finding this out as I have been trying to use each website. The last straw was when I was not able to watch some Modern Family on Hulu. Sad days.
-There was an earthquake in Delhi last week? Did everyone know that? Well, I certainly didn't. I didn't feel it, and later found out that night when it was on the news.
-I found another thing here that is backwards (remember I was talking about it in my blog on Feb 22?): the date! Instead of March 18th being 3/18/12, it is 18/3/12. I first noticed this when I was filling out my customs forms to India on the plane, but now I just write it that way automatically. Haha, it's about to be super fun coming and adjusting to things back in the US ;)
-I found out that Biji calls my laptop a "study box." Haha, I love that woman.
-It's getting hot here (up to 80s or 90s), but people are still wearing sweaters. Why??? I will never understand.
-Biji still continues to ask me EVERY morning if I have brushed my teeth. I'm not allowed to drink or eat anything until I show her my teeth :)

That date thing is true almost everywhere except the US! Ted's friend in college was from Chile and his birthday was April 1st. When he was getting his American driver's license they didn't reverse them so it said his birthday was January 4th. He turned 21 3 months early!
