I hope everyone had a splendid Easter this past Sunday! Although I was not home to enjoy my mother's amazing ham and German Potato Salad (a special family recipe from her grandmother!), I was able to celebrate here in India. In the morning, I went to the Sacred Heart Cathedral in main Delhi for Easter Mass. It was so beautiful outside and inside! The mass was also lovely.
When I came home, I did a little prayer session with Biji and Ms. Raj (Biji's caretaker). They were super into it! Ms. Raj also made Kheer, which is a sweet rice-pudding type dish that is made on festive occasions. Overall, a wonderful way to spend my Easter morning!
